Monjiro of the Cold Wind, news and pre-order

Given the current world situation there might be a delay with your orders and pre-orders due to third persons as postal services and caster.

But the news is not all bad, Stavros has done her magic again. This is Monjiro of the Cold Wind, he is inspired in Kogarashi Monjiro the character of a Japanese novel but probably is best known in the televised version broadcast during 1972–1973.

This amazing figure is added to the existing pre-order and is extended until 19 April. If you have already pre-ordered the two existing figures can add this new figure without additional shipping costs, only let me know.

Yamamoto Yaeko WIP

Ladies and gentlemen, miss Yamamoto Yaeko, one of the best Stavros work! 

She took part in the defense of Aizu when the Boshin War broke out in 1868. During the Battle of Aizu, she fought against the Meiji government and the coalition forces, defending the Aizuwakamatsu Castle with her Spencer carbine.

Ronin Kenshin, master swordsman WIP

A awesome samurai from Stavros! Ronin Kenshin, this figure is one of the most requested by the samurai anime/manga/movies fans.

Bac Ninh News!

I’m pleased to announce that I’ve teamed up with sculptor Stavros Zouliatis (some of you may know him from the work he’s done for Footsore Miniatures on their Feudal Japan-Warring Clan and Mortal Gods ranges) to initially produce some packs of character figures.
Our first release will be Shogunate officers and several standard- bearers. Here is the first Officer and as you can see Stavros’ work is amazing, I hope you will agree that will be a cool command pack. Once the command pack is complete, maybe we should be moving on to cinema samurai characters…

Byakkotai and Aizu troops greens

The Byakkotai and the Aizu troops are nearly there! The Byakkotai (白虎隊) or “White Tiger regiment” was a group of young teenage samurai of the Aizu domain, who fought in the Boshin War, their history is all drama. 

These new codes will be:

BW-13 Byakkotai firing/skirmishing(4) 

BW-14 Byakkotai advancing/charging (4)

BW-15 Aizu troops firing/skirmishing (4) 

BW-16 Aizu troops advancing/charging (4) 

The new Byakkotai and Aizu packs can be Pre-Ordered and if you buy four or more packs, will save 0,25 per pack. This Pre-Order with the special price is only available until 31st July 2017.

First pics of our Shinsengumi

Shinsengumi figures are nearly there! Bac Ninh Miniatures extends its catalog with two new references, once again brilliantly sculpted by Paul Hicks. They are simply awesome! Maybe the best 28mm samurai figures so far.
These new codes will be:
BW-10 Shinsengumi personalities (4) and they are; Okita Soji, Kondo Isami, Saito Hajime and Hijikata Toshizo.
BW-11 Shinsengumi members (4) 

The new Shinsengumi packs can be Pre-Ordered and if you purchase four or more packs (includes other codes) you will receive a free special Shinsengumi standard bearer figure.

This Pre-Order with the special figure is only available until 31st July 2016.

News and WIP

I have a lot of people asking to me about the next releases, so I'm going to try clarify this matter. We are currently working on new packs, but I don't have a release date because Paul has stopped at the moment the production of figures due to he and his wife are expecting a baby, but he will be getting back very soon.      
I can advance that these new packs will have separate heads and this way so many variations can be done.  

Meanwhile, here you can see any pics of the started work by Paul, please note that they are WIP. ;-)
